What is the Cost of Medication Non-adherence?
Aging in place is a preferred choice for many seniors. It provides emotional, social, and psychological benefits, but it also presents unique challenges, especially for seniors on multiple medications and dietary supplements.
Our co-founder, Kenneth, has firsthand experience with these challenges. After spending four years as a caregiver in both home care and long-term care settings, he witnessed how medication non-adherence—whether missed rounds, overdosing, or under-dosing—can quickly lead to a decline in a senior’s health. Unfortunately, these non-adherence to prescription often result in seniors losing their ability to live independently and being moved into long-term care facilities. Many of these seniors had to leave the communities they had called home for decades.
Kenneth’s experiences inspired our mission: to help seniors on routine medication to age-in-place and bring peace of mind to loved-ones and caregivers.
At Techleft, we are committed to addressing this urgent issue. We understand the importance of providing seniors with tools and guidance to safely manage their health, so they can remain in their homes longer.
